Grand’Anse Health and Development Association (GAHDA) continues to provide training and breast cancer care to women in a mountainous region of 500,000 people in southwestern Haiti. This is despite two years of political and economic disruption. Women continue to be screened, diagnosed, referred for surgery and chemotherapy, and then provided ongoing care. This is due to the commitment and resourcefulness of the GAHDA staff who are committed to improving women’s health.
GAHDA is a proud member of Women and Health Together for the Future.
